# 2026 MEXICO CITY GRAND PRIX

The Stewards have received a request from TGR Haas F1 Team to change the driver of car 31,

Esteban Ocon. In accordance with Article B1.7.2 of the FIA F1 Regulations, the Stewards grant permission for the

driver, Ryo Hirakawa, with the car number 50, to participate in the 2026 Mexico City Grand Prix in place of Esteban Ocon for the rest of the competition. The driver of car 50 is required to use the engine and tyres which were allocated to the original driver, Esteban Ocon as detailed under Article B1.7.5 of the FIA F1 Regulations.

Regulations. Further, this permission is subject to Ryo Hirakawa passing the scrutineering requirements. Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in

accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Chapter 5 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits. Decisions of the Stewards are taken independently of the FIA and are based solely on the relevant
